ADSS and OPGW Preformed Suspension Clamp
The preformed suspension clamp is designed to reduce static and dynamic stresses at the support point, thus protecting the conductor or strand from vibrations. It also protects the conductor in the support from impulse and power flashover. There are many different types and structures of preformed suspension clamps, such as double suspension set for ADSS, double suspension for OPGW, single suspension for OPGW, etc.
OPGW suspension clamp is used to connect OPGW cable and pole (tower), reduce the static stress of support point on OPGW cable, increase the vibration resistance of ADSS cable, buffer the dynamic stress of wind vibration, and ensure that the bending of fiber optic cable does not exceed the allowable value so that the fiber optic cable does not generate bending stress so that the fiber does not generate an additional loss in the fiber optic cable after installation.
ADSS suspension clamp is the connecting hardware for ADSS cables suspended from transmission line poles (towers). 4. Suspension Set for OPGW used primarily for straight-sided drop tower, or less than 15 º line tower connection.
(1) Retention force of 10%-20% or more of RTS can be achieved without stress concentration and vibration stress.
